Who can go on the retreat?
The retreat is for youth of the Mesa North Stake ages 14-18, or turning 14 this year.
Will I stay with the ward/people I drove up with?
No, upon arrival the youth will be gathered into groups of approximately 10-12 youth each. Each group will include youth from multiple wards within the stake and be chaperoned by a married couple.
What is the cost of the Retreat?
This is a stake activity and there is no cost to families or individual youth.
I am a ward YM or YW leader. Am I expected to attend this Retreat?
No, for this particular stake activity, the adult leaders have been invited by the Stake Youth Council to serve at the Retreat.
I am a ward YM or YW leader and I would like to attend the Retreat.
We appreciate you're willingness to serve, however, there are no provisions for you to stay at the Retreat. We currently have more than 60 adult leaders signed-up as staff. Please do no plan on attending unless you are asked to by a leader from the Stake Youth Council.
I am a youth attending the retreat, how will I get there?
Individual wards are responsible for arranging rides to and from the Retreat. Direct questions about transportation to your YW president or Bishop.
I am a ward member who volunteered to drive youth to the Retreat. Can I stay at on-site during the retreat so I can drive the youth home again. No, there are no provisions for you to stay at camp. The expected numbers of our youth attending this retreat are at maximum capacity levels according the the camp hosts.
